August 2024 Housing Update
What's the forecast for the Sacramento real estate market going into August 2024?
We know many of you are wondering what the latest insights into our real estate and what's the Sacramento market doing right now.
We will share some tips with you on how to navigate the process whether you're buying a home or selling one.
The Average Sold Price
The Average sold price was trending up in June 2024 at $645,000 up over 4% from $621,000 in June of 2023 and up over 2% from $631,000 last month.
Property Sales
May property sales were 2,717 units down almost 8% from 2949 in June of 2023 and over 12% lower from the 2763 sales in May versus last year.
Inventory
The total number of properties available this month was higher by 1,964 units or almost 46%.
This year's bigger inventory means that buyers who waited to buy may have a bigger selection to choose from the number of current inventory was up almost 12.5% compared to the previous month.
